Ariana Grande is a busy girl.
As the singer and actress Ariana Grande prepares to take off for her ‘Sweetener World Tour‘ that begins in March of 2019, fans are foaming at the mouth for the chance to see her perform live. Touring is nothing new for her. This will mark her fourth.
The twenty-five year old got her breakthrough stardom via Nickelodeon. From the attention-grabbing and high viewer rating show ‘Victorious,’ the teen television queen became a teen idol overnight and decided to part ways after the first season in an effort to pursue her music career making her first vocal appearance on the soundtrack for the television comedy.
Luckily for her fans, she stays busy in the interim and never strays too far out of sight or headlines. It was only four days ago when the singer released her personal ode to her ex-boyfriends called ‘Thank U Next’ where she vocalized her learning experiences from her famous ex-boyfriends Ricky Alvarez, Mac Miller, and most recently Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.
Their whirlwind romance ended prematurely as they were broken up as quickly as they became engaged. Since her perfectly timed single debuted mere minutes before the airing of Saturday Night Live, ‘Thank U Next’ currently holds the number one position on Spotify and iTunes charts. I suppose classic tunes about your ex’s are the way to go if you want to top the charts. Insert Taylor Swift deja vu.
Dropping her fourth studio album ‘Sweetener’ back in August of 2018, ‘breathin’ became her third single off the LP and a fan favorite. The premise behind the song deals with the laboring of breathing when the body suffers from stress and anxiety.
Fresh off the heels of dropping her new music video this morning, Ariana took to The Ellen Show to debut her single ‘Thank U Next’ for the first time. While her vocals were certainly on point for the performance, the point on her thigh-high boot was not so kind.
Tripping on a chair but not falling, she flawlessly recovered and continued on having to hold back tears. Ariana’s been through a lot this year and there’s still healing to be done.
