Cardi B explains how her brain works

If you’re talking to Cardi B and she looks like she’s staring off into space and ignoring you, it’s because she is.

Cardi B may have a lot on her mind which is why she may be listening to you with one ear but it’s going out the other and all sounding like the teacher on Charlie Brown (wah wah!)

Maybe she’s daydreaming about getting back home to her husband Offset who she can’t seem to keep her hands off of (no shame in that) or maybe she wants to put the itinerary aside to get to the other love of her life – daughter Kulture.  Maybe she’s thinking about how she slayed 2018 with her debut album Invasion of Privacy that launched into stratospheric chart-topping ranks.

Maybe she’s thinking about polishing the Grammy she took home in February for Best Rap Album.  Maybe she’s thinking about how she put the red carpet to shame at that Grammy ceremony in not one, not two, not three, but four vintage Thierry Mugler looks.

Maybe she’s contemplating all the schmoney she’s making from her business partnerships with Reebok, Netflix, Fashion Nova or maybe she’s thinking about what she’ll be packing on her upcoming Days of Summer Cruise with DJ Khaled and Post Malone.

Or maybe it’s not any of that.  Maybe she’s contemplating saving the world from the reign of Donald Trump.  Nope, come to find out, it’s none of that at all.

Cardi hopped on Instagram to break down what’s really happening inside her brain when people are having a face-to-face conversation with her.  Apparently, there’s a running stream of consciousness going on when she’s not actively listening to you.  A dialogue between her and herself.  The point is, Cardi’s a busy woman so forgive her if she looks like she’s not paying attention.
